I think its cool. It’s something we’ve seen before, but the symbolism is what gets me liking it. “Good For You” was the second song that I’ve liked of Selena Gomez. The first being “The Heart Wants What It Wants.” Let me rephrase this, I love “Good For You.” The chilled out, relaxed vibe of the song just puts me in a mood.
I feel that “Revival” is going to be an album with something to say, personally, from Selena. It reminds of Christina Aguilera’s “Stripped” in the sense that I can’t help but look at the photo and think, “No hype, no gloss, no pretense. This is me stripped.” Right? It’s not a bad comparison and maybe I’m the only one that thinks that, but Selena did give an interview the other day talking about how inspired she was by the “Stripped” album. So, yeah.
