Now, I’m not the biggest Demi Lovato fan, but after watching her perform a few days ago I really do respect her and sorta like her now. Begrudgingly, I did enjoy “Cool For The Summer” when it was released, but now, I put in on a playlist and find myself singing it while I’m hand-washing coffee mugs that aren’t dishwasher safe.
Demi opened for 5 Seconds of Summer on July 13, 2015 in a private show for the San Manuel Indian Reservation. I know, I thought the same thing! “Isn’t Demi bigger than 5 Seconds of Summer? Why is she opening and not headlining?” Well, to be fair, she put on a full set and killed it, so yeah. She sang all of her hits, some I didn’t know, and her version of “Let It Go.” Now, I don’t follow Demi’s career, but she was very open about being bi-polar and gave a heartfelt speech about perseverance, self-worth, and self-acceptance.
I like you Demi, I like you.
